NERC CE Training Workshops
We provide training workshops and give a discounted rate for all attendees when the session is hosted by an entity.
The S-1 workshops are each two 8-hour days for 16 NERC CE hours and 13 WECC CE hours. Maximum workshop attendance desired is 15 and the minimum is about 10. We usually provide two instructors to facilitate maximum
attendee benefit. The cost is $1290 per attendee with discounts available if any entity hosts the workshop. Two instructors are normally provided.

Session 2 Special Emergency Preparedness Training
Session 2 workshop consists of a short review of islanding, synchronizing islands, and black-start response applied to training scenarios. The credit is 15 NERC CE hours and 13 WECC CE hours. This session is 2
days.
Each Session 2 is comprised of training scenarios that can be expanded to include system specific training. For these we need some preparation time. The Web-Based E-Training is a great way to gain
valuable training at the same time this training can contribute to meeting annual emergency preparedness drills as well as CE emergency operations credit for table-top drills in lieu of actual simulation.
